Abstract:
Una competencia tanto a nivel personal como en el quehacer de un profesional en psicología es la capacidad para la comprensión, interpretación, análisis y cuestionamiento de textos de forma escrita y oral. Esto parte de la necesidad de un manejo sistemático y reflexiva del lenguaje característica importante que debe poseer un estudiante en formación. Un discurso es la manifestación del pensamiento, a partir de él se brinda un mensaje con una intencionalidad establecida donde se pone en juego la dinámica entre quien produce el discurso y quien desea interpretarlo o comprenderlo. Otro elemento esencial de dicha relación dinámica es el contexto. Por tanto, es de importancia que el estudiante obtenga conocimientos sobre los componentes que hacen comprensible un discurso, su contenido y con ello pueda analizar de forma complete un discurso considerando la relación entre todas sus partes; con el objetivo final de que tenga las herramientas para asumir una posición, descubrir, desmitificar e incluso desafiar un enfoque o postulado a partir de un análisis crítico. Asimismo, se reflexiona sobre la capacidad de interpretación del ser humano, como un proceso creativo. Cabe señalar que, en el quehacer del profesional en psicología, esta capacidad debe afinarse y mantenerse en constante evolución. Esto se logra a partir del entrenamiento en el pensamiento crítico, el razonamiento y la capacidad de inferir.

This is based on the need for a systematic and reflexive handling of language, an important characteristic that a student in training must possess. A discourse is the manifestation of thought, from which a message is given with an established intentionality where the dynamics between the one who produces the discourse and the one who wishes to interpret or understand it come into play. Another essential element of this dynamic relationship is the context. Therefore, it is important that the student obtains knowledge about the components that make a discourse understandable, its content and thus be able to fully analyze a discourse considering the relationship between all its parts; with the ultimate goal of having the tools to take a position, discover, demystify and even challenge an approach or postulate from a critical analysis. It also reflects on the human being's capacity for interpretation as a creative process. It should be noted that, in the work of the psychology professional, this capacity must be refined and maintained in constant evolution. This is achieved through training in critical thinking, reasoning and the ability to infer.
