Abstract:

El presente proyecto de investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar las habilidades de comprensión lectora de las personas estudiantes de noveno y undécimo año del sistema de Educación Abierta en las asignaturas de Estudios Sociales y Matemáticas, en el Instituto Pedagógico Turú (IPT), San José, durante el periodo comprendido entre septiembre de 2025 y abril de 2026. La investigación surge a partir de la necesidad de atender las deficiencias evidenciadas en el desarrollo de estas habilidades, las cuales inciden directamente en el desempeño académico del estudiantado en las pruebas del sistema de Educación Abierta.

Description:

The objective of this research project was to analyze the reading comprehension skills of ninth- and eleventh-grade students enrolled in the Open Education System in the subjects of Social Studies and Mathematics at the Turú Pedagogical Institute (IPT), San José, during the period from September 2025 to April 2026. This research arose from the need to address the deficiencies identified in the development of these skills, which directly affect students’ academic performance in Open Education System examinations.
