En la primer parte del texto se dan a conocer aspectos sobre la Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC), para posteriormente enfatizar en el Acuerdo General sobre Aranceles Aduaneros y Comercio (GATT) y la adhesión de Costa Rica al mismo.

In the first part of the text, aspects of the World Trade Organization (WTO) are presented, and then emphasis is placed on the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and Costa Rica's accession to it.
