Abstract:
El adoptar las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera ha significado y seguirá siendo un reto para todos los países que han adoptado la NIIF. Implica un extenso trabajo y debe ser colaboración de todos los integrantes de la organización, quienes deben aprender un nuevo idioma y una nueva forma de trabajar, que permitirá dar un paso adelante en materia de detectar riesgos y mejorar política de control.
Al adoptar las NIC en el año 2001, la administración tributaria tomó dos acciones concretas: a) emitió una resolución aún vigente del dimensionamiento de dichas normas en el impacto de la determinación de la base imponible del impuesto a la renta y b) modificó el artículo 57 del reglamento del impuesto a la renta para hacer de obligatorio acatamiento para el contribuyente estas normas.

Adopting International Financial Reporting Standards has been and will continue to be a challenge for all countries that have adopted IFRS. It involves extensive work and must involve the collaboration of all members of the organization, who must learn a new language and a new way of working, which will make it possible to take a step forward in terms of detecting risks and improving control policy.
When adopting the IAS in 2001, the tax administration took two concrete actions: a) it issued a resolution still in force on the dimensioning of said standards in the impact of the determination of the income tax base and b) it modified article 57 of the income tax regulations to make compliance with these standards mandatory for the taxpayer.
