dc.description	Currently, social networks and technological tool are of utmost importance for all institutions. Several technological tools are used by the Public Force and some social networks have become a very important communication channel, from high command to police officers. On the road, but it is also a means to have a rapprochement with citizens. A proposal is sought to optimize the use of social networks and technological tools in the police processes of the Siquirres Police Delegation. During the investigation carried out, it was determined that the social network most used by police officers is WhatsApp, and although several technological tools are used, the necessary training for the use of new technologies is not being provided to police officers. To achieve the results obtained, observation of the police officers in the cantonal delegation and the two district delegations was carried out, an investigation was carried out on the web pages, bibliographic research, and the opinion of several police officers from different positions was obtained through surveys and interviews.	es
dc.description.abstract	En la actualidad las redes sociales y herramientas tecnológicas son de suma importancia para todas las instituciones, por parte de Fuerza Pública se utilizan varias herramientas tecnológicas y algunas redes sociales se han convertido en un canal de comunicación muy importante, desde los altos mando hasta los policías en carretera, pero además es un medio para tener un acercamiento con la ciudadanía. Se busca una propuesta optimizar el uso de las redes sociales y herramientas tecnológicas en los procesos policiales de la Delegación Policial de la Siquirres. Durante la investigación realizada se logra determinar que la red social más utilizada por los policías es el WhatsApp, y a pesar que se utilizan varias herramientas tecnológicas no se le está brindando la capacitación necesaria para el uso de nuevas tecnologías a los policías. Para lograr los resultados obtenidos se realizó observación de los policías en la delegación cantonal y las dos delegaciones distritales, se realiza una investigación en las páginas web, investigación bibliográfica, y se logra obtener la opinión de varios policías de diferentes puestos por medio de encuestas y entrevistas.	es
