Abstract:
Actualmente hay una presencia significativa del tratamiento de las problemáticas asociadas al pensamiento ético y bioético por parte del profesional de la salud. Estas dificultades e insuficiencias que se han podido constatar durante años, aún persisten y se manifiestan en la falta de dominio y precisión conceptual sobre la ética y la moral y del aparato teórico-normativo de las disciplinas éticas, falta una contextualización del pensar ético, lo que conduce a problemas en la utilización de los principios al no adecuarse su contenido al sistema de valores vigente, también se muestra una escasa labor de reflexión crítica asociada al predominio de la mala práctica de la copia de modelos foráneos. Motivo de lo anterior, esta lectura se interesa en abordar los siguientes puntos: 1) Historia de la bioética, 2) Importancia de la bioética, 3) Puntos básicos de la bioética, 4) ¿Qué hace el comité de bioética? y 5) Derechos de la bioética.

Currently, there is a significant presence of the treatment of problems associated with ethical and bioethical thinking on the part of health professionals. These difficulties and inadequacies that have been observed for years, still persist and are manifested in the lack of mastery and conceptual precision on ethics and morality and the theoretical and normative apparatus of ethical disciplines, lack of contextualization of ethical thinking, which leads to problems in the use of the principles by not adapting their content to the current value system, also shows a scarce work of critical reflection associated with the predominance of malpractice of copying foreign models. Because of the above, this reading is interested in addressing the following points: 1) History of bioethics, 2) Importance of bioethics, 3) Basic points of bioethics, 4) What does the bioethics committee do? and 5) Bioethics rights.
