| dc.description | First, the history of the study of abnormal behavior and culture is addressed, in this sense, adaptation, normality and culture are studied, as well as the mental hygiene movement. On the other hand, the explanatory theories of abnormal or psychopathological behavior and some basic concepts are presented, such as: diagnosis, onset, course, prognosis, incidence and prevalence. The evaluation of mental disorders is studied, considering the classification systems and their main changes; in addition, multiaxial and multilevel systems or models of diagnosis and evaluation are explored. Finally, the classification of mental disorders according to the DSM-V is presented. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | Primeramente, se aborda la historia del estudio de la conducta anormal y cultura, en este sentido, se estudia la adaptación, normalidad y cultura, así como el movimiento de higiene mental. Por otra parte, son presentadas las teorías explicativas de la conducta anormal o psicopatológica y algunos conceptos básicos, tales como: diagnóstico, inicio, curso, pronóstico, incidencia y prevalencia. Se estudia la evaluación de los trastornos mentales, considerando los sistemas de clasificación y sus principales cambios; además, son explorados los sistemas o modelos multiaxiales y multinivel de diagnóstico y evaluación. Por último, se presenta la clasificación de los trastornos mentales según el DSM-V. | es |
