| dc.description | The purpose of this document is to inform USAM students about all the benefits and conditions of an SME in Costa Rica, as well as the limitations or beliefs that SMEs are companies that do not meet any requirements to be competitive. This clarification is considered important for the justification of implementing IFRS-SMEs. By complying with IFRS-SMEs, it is intended to demonstrate that they are a necessity. It also covers the conditions established by Costa Rican regulations to be identified as an SME and, consequently, to have access to some priorities, as is the case of the IFRS-SMEs, which is already being used in more than 100 countries around the world. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente documento tiene como objetivo dar a conocer a los estudiantes de la USAM todos los beneficios y condiciones de una PYME en Costa Rica, así como las limitantes o creencias que las PYMES son empresas que no reúnen ningún requisito para ser competitivos. Esta aclaración se considera importante para la justificación de implementar las NIIF-PYMES. Con el cumplimiento de las NIIF-PYMES se quiere demostrar que significan una necesidad. También, se abarcan las condiciones que establece la normativa costarricense para ser identificada como una PYMES y, por consiguiente, tener acceso hacia algunas prioridades, como es el caso de la NIIF-PYMES, que ya está siendo utilizada en más de 100 países alrededor del mundo. | es |
