dc.description	In this report, corresponding to the period 2019, the following achievements of the Network are highlighted 1) Holding of two regional training workshops for educators, communities, public institutions and the business sector, 2) Reporting of environmental performance indicators for 12 of the member institutions, 3) Expansion of the participation of REDIES' member institutions in the Costa Rican Network for the Reduction of Food Loss and Waste, 4) Promotion and support of the Eco-Romeria with the participation of 175 volunteers in 2019, 5) Participation in the Academic Committee of the VIII International Conference on Life Cycle Analysis in Latin America - CILCA 2019, 6) Presentation of REDIES' experience in the development of environmental management in Higher Education Institutions, during the didactic camp for learning about chemistry and its environmental implications of the ENLACE project, 7) Participation in the Conference of the Iberoamerican Association of Universities Networks on Sustainability and Environment (ARIUSA) 2018 and definition of the headquarters in Costa Rica for the XI ARIUSA Workshop and the III Latin American Forum of Universities and Sustainability to be held in 2020 or 2021, 8) Participation in the activities of the Mesoamerican Research Group on Climate Change and the Mesoamerican Alliance of University Networks for Sustainability and Environment (AMUSA), 9) Carrying out the diagnosis on the inclusion of environmental considerations, according to the ARIUSA instrument, in which 24 higher education and technical institutions in Costa Rica participated, 10) Signing of an alliance between REDIES and the VICAL group and 11) Carrying out four training sessions for personnel of member institutions. It is also worth mentioning that the institutions that make up REDIES maintain their commitment to sustainability and this is manifested in their institutional environmental policies, where 100% have achieved internal approval in their institutions.	es
dc.description.abstract	En este informe, correspondiente al periodo 2019, se destacan los siguientes logros de la Red: 1) Realización de dos talleres regionales de capacitación dirigidos a educadores, comunidades, instituciones públicas y sector empresarial, 2) Reporte de indicadores de desempeño ambiental de 12 de las instituciones miembro, 3) Ampliación de la participación de las instituciones miembro de REDIES en la Red Costarricense para la Disminución de Pérdida y Desperdicio de Alimentos, 4) Promoción y apoyo a la Eco Romería con la participación de 175 voluntarios en el 2019, 5) Participación en el Comité Académico de la VIII Conferencia Internacional de Análisis de Ciclo de Vida en Latinoamérica – CILCA 2019, 6) Presentación de la experiencia de REDIES en el desarrollo de la gestión ambiental en las Instituciones de Educación Superior, durante el campamento didáctico para el aprendizaje de la química y sus implicaciones medioambientales del proyecto ENLACE, 7) Participación en las Jornadas de la Asociación de Redes Iberoamericana de Universidades en Sustentabilidad y Ambiente (ARIUSA) 2018 y definición de la sede en Costa Rica para la XI Jornada de trabajo de ARIUSA y el III Foro Latinoamericanos de Universidades y sostenibilidad a realizarse en el año 2020 o 2021, 8) Participación en las actividades del grupo de Investigación Mesoamericano en Cambio Climático y la Alianza Mesoamericana de Redes de Universidades por la Sostenibilidad y el Ambiente (AMUSA), 9) Realización del diagnóstico sobre la inclusión de consideraciones ambientales, de acuerdo al instrumento de ARIUSA, en el que participaron 24 instituciones de educación superior y técnica de Costa Rica, 10) Firma de alianza entre REDIES y grupo VICAL y 11) Realización de cuatro capacitaciones para personal de instituciones miembro. Vale la pena mencionar también que las instituciones que integran REDIES mantienen su compromiso con la sostenibilidad y así lo manifiestan en sus políticas ambientales institucionales, donde el 100% han logrado aprobar a lo interno de sus instituciones.	es
