| dc.description | In this axis we will focus on understanding the concept of science, technology and engineering, from there we will develop a historical review of engineering, identifying its main contributions and developments over time. Emphasis will also be made on the history of Industrial Engineering in the world and in Colombia, and how engineering arrived in our country from the development of the main civil infrastructure works. Finally, some specific aspects of engineering will be addressed, especially elements such as basic sciences and the different explanations of the scientific method. During the reading of this text it will be necessary to develop several complementary resources as well as some readings and video capsules that will allow them to delve into the concepts presented here in addition. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | En este eje nos centraremos en entender el concepto de ciencia, tecnología e ingeniería, a partir de allí se desarrollará un recorrido histórico de la revisión de la ingeniería, identificando sus principales aportes y desarrollos a lo largo del tiempo. Se hará también énfasis en la historia de la Ingeniería Industrial en el mundo y en Colombia, y cómo la ingeniería llegó a nuestro país a partir del desarrollo de las principales obras de infraestructura civil. Para finalizar se abordarán algunos aspectos específicos de la ingeniería, en especial elementos como las ciencias básicas y las distintas explicaciones del método científico. Durante la lectura de este texto será necesario ir desarrollando varios recursos complementarios así como algunas lecturas y vídeo cápsulas que les permitirán ahondar en los conceptos aquí expuestos en adición. | es |
