Abstract:
En esta lectura se profundiza sobre las técnicas de pronósticos más utilizadas. Se inicia entendiendo qué es un pronóstico y cómo este nos ayudan en la toma de decisiones, y principalmente se recordará que, si bien el pronóstico es una herramienta útil, nunca deberá estar por encima del criterio experto. Se iniciará con el uso de la herramienta del Excel para el cálculo de una regresión lineal simple en la cual explicará en detalle cada uno de los elementos necesarios e importantes para poder definir la ecuación de regresión lineal. Se partirá del principio de aprender haciendo, dado que esta temática requiere de bastante práctica.

In this reading, the most used forecasting techniques will be delved into. It will start by understanding what a forecast is and how it helps us in making decisions, and mainly it will be remembered that although the forecast is a useful tool, it should never be above the expert's criteria. It will begin with the use of the Excel tool to calculate a simple linear regression in which each of the necessary and important elements to define the linear regression equation will be explained in detail. It will start from the principle of learning by doing, since this topic requires a lot of practice.
