"El estudio llamado teoría de colas, es una de las técnicas de análisis
cuantitativo más antiguas y que se utilizan más extensamente. Las
líneas de espera son un suceso de todos los días que afectan a las
personas que van de compras al supermercado, a cargar gasolina, a
hacer depósitos bancarios o a quienes esperan en el teléfono a que
conteste la primera operadora disponible para hacer su reservación de
avión.

The study called queuing theory is one of the oldest and most widely
used quantitative analysis techniques. Waiting lines are an everyday
occurrence that affect people who go shopping at the supermarket, fill
up gas, make bank deposits or who wait on the phone for the first
available operator to answer to make their plane reservation.
