<description>Mantenimiento industrial
Trigueros Fallas, Gustavo
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) focuses on ensuring that the production operating system performs as provided, reliably. The goal of total productive maintenance is to avoid equipment failures and downtime, ideally to have zero accidents, zero defects and zero failures over the entire life cycle of the production system. TPM seeks to maximize overall equipment effectiveness and eliminate unplanned downtime while creating a sense of ownership of the machine, equipment and tools by the workers. This is achieved by engaging in maintenance activities and fostering continuous efforts for the improvement of equipment operation through engagement activities between machine operators, maintenance personnel and top management. In summary, the TPM, has as a major theme the involvement of employees in the maintenance of equipment, so that they have a sense of ownership and know that they are primarily responsible for the proper care and operation of machines and tools.

<description>Calidad y proyectos SIX SIGMA
Trigueros Fallas, Gustavo
The Six Sigma methodology has also been the basis for the development of projects, which seek an agile way of implementation. The Japanese philosophy, in which the elimination of waste is a new way of subsistence and life. The elimination of these changes will allow to be more efficient and in turn more competitive in the business world, then two widely accepted modern methodologies are analyzed. Six Sigma which attacks the variability of the processes and Lean manufacturing which seeks to reduce waste in the processes, both methodologies are of continuous improvement, so they are used repeatedly allowing constant improvement.

<description>Compras y distribución
Trigueros Fallas, Gustavo
Purchasing and distribution represent a high cost within the operations of a company, therefore its management must be carefully planned, first in the search for suppliers. The search for suppliers is one of the most important factors in the logistics and commercial management of any company. Previously organizational culture understood the definition of supplier as a figure relatively external to our company, the digitalization process to which corporations have been introduced added to a market where the needs of consumers are more changing than ever have made understand the management of suppliers as one of the basic pillars for the development of any company. On the other hand, the distribution of goods must contemplate aspects of efficiency and opportunity in such a way that the business is sustained and develops in a profitable way.

<description>Sistema de producción ESBELTA y justo a tiempo
Trigueros Fallas, Gustavo
The Japanese reality after the Second World War is analyzed in the first instance, as a driver for the change in the business mentality of this country. The lean production systems have their origin in the Just in Time philosophy, the Just in Time philosophy was developed at Toyota Motor Co. in Japan. It was popularized in the mid-seventies at Toyota by engineer Taichi Ohno, Toyota vice-president and several of his engineers. The Japanese adapt and value more strongly the few resources available, given this condition, they take it to a new philosophy in which the elimination of waste is a new way of life and livelihood. This philosophy permeates deeply into their culture and is applied indiscriminately in families, industry and commerce.
